greetings!  lots of you know me, but for those of you who don’t, my name is abby and i’m moving from city life as a college teacher in alabama to country life as a student midwife in maine.  i have another blog on wordpress, the urban herbwife, but this blog is going to be a little more free-form.  i want to record my experiences of the move, of life in beautiful maine, and of my path to midwifery.  there will probably be some overlap between my two blogs, but this one will focus more on my daily life.  i hope to include my herbal projects, gardening, cooking, general hilarity, and any other meanness i can get up to.  i hope to be part of a local csa and a whole foods co-op, so those experiences will be shared as well.  thanks for reading, and i hope you enjoy!  ❤
